Week 0
Haven’t written a word in 5 years. Found a job, then another one, on top of teaching, with a side of pentest and certification as a side dish.
Why now, of all times?
Well, I am gonna be a dad, and I actually want to leave some memories around — whether work, funny details of life, or design of things in general.
I also realized that not writing anything was leaving a lot of empty space for people a lot less well-intentioned to have the louder voice. We are definitely living through a weird time, where anonymity is nearly gone, where social media is drowned in both bought and generated content, and where any sense of quality is deemed an afterthought.
I want to push my voice, to see the change I want to have, for me or for the ones who are next.
We went from an internet where we were glad to find solutions and knowledge, to one where we wonder whether someone is trying to influence our decisions or sell us something.
I will never sell anything here — maybe my work, and that’s it.
Weekly column
A new format will appear: the weekly column. The idea is to publish content week by week — technical notes, news, and what I enjoyed that week. It might not keep everyone interested, and that’s ok: take what you enjoy, leave the rest.
